Academic and Career Advising

Open regular hours for advising by phone, text, and email. See the Advising website for details and contact information.

Academic Computing Center

The Computer Center and associated classrooms (LIB 2610, 2612, 2617, and 2619) are closed until further notice.

The Student Technology Support desk staff are working remotely and responding to submitted help request tickets. We are not accepting phone calls at this time.

Access Services

Open regular hours by phone and email only. Returning students may email us to request updated accommodations for Spring Quarter. New students can email us to schedule a phone appointment to get started with services.  We will be processing books in alternative formats over Spring Break. As the COVID-19 situation unfolds, Evergreen is taking steps to ensure the health and well-being of everyone on our campus, including our visitors.

Bookstore & Copy Center

The Bookstore will be closed as of 4 pm on Wednesday March 25.

You can purchase textbooks and supply kits online. We are offering a flat rate shipping fee of $3.99 per order (not per book -- one fee for the whole order).

Art supply kits will be available online by week one, pending shipments from vendors.

Jobs can be sent to the Copy Center via email at and we will do our best to deliver them promptly.

Campus Food Bank

The Campus Food Bank is closed due to the Stay Home, Stay Healthy order.

We are coordinating with the Thurston County Food Bank for future distribution on-campus.

Campus Mail

Because of reduced staffing and building closures, we are asking offices that require mail service to send a representative to the mailroom on the first floor of the Library building to pick up the office’s incoming mail and deliver its outgoing mail.

Office hours are Monday – Friday, 8:30 am – 4 pm. Mail will be sorted and ready for pick up by 9 am. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the mailroom at (360) 867-6482 or

Cashier & Student Accounts

Student Accounts is open regular hours by email and phone only.  Bookstore advance vouchers are still being offered, and refund checks will be mailed as scheduled on Friday, March 27.

Children's Center

Costantino Recreation Center (CRC)

Einstein's and The Flaming Eggplant are closed through April 24 or until further notice.

Other locations are on break week hours, serving food only in to-go containers with no dining seating. See the dining website for details and hours through April 24.

Financial Aid and Student Employment

Open regular hours for inquiries by phone and email only. All forms of financial aid are being processed normally. See the Financial Aid website for contact information.

Call or email if you:

  • have questions
  • need to follow up on correspondence from the financial aid office
  • need special assistance because COVID-19 is affecting your personal or family financial situation

The Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) policy remains in place, as well as and all dates and deadlines for financial aid for upcoming quarters.

First Peoples Multicultural Trans and Queer Support Services

Housing and Housing Community Center (HCC)

If you are able to return to your primary residence, please do so. Housing will remain open, and the HCC is open; we ask people to maintain social distance and not gather in the HCC. See more details about student housing and HCC services.

Media Loan

Parking passes are still required, but the Parking Booth is not being staffed. If you need a daily pass, go to the Pay & Display parking pass machine located at the entrance to F parking lot, off Driftwood Road, across from the Dorms.

Parking Services staff are working remotely until further notice. Payments can be made by postal mail or at the Parking Booth drop box. For parking business please email or call (360) 867-6131.

Payroll Processing

The Payroll & Benefits Office will be processing normal payroll. Payroll staff will be working remotely during the campus closure, except on the final payroll cut-off dates, where we will be on campus.

We will be communicating with time sheet approvers by Evergreen email to ensure all completed timecards are certified by payroll cut-off dates.

You can submit payroll deduction changes by email any time, in person during open hours, or through our after-hours drop-box. Remember to keep your identity secure by not emailing Social Security numbers.

Police Services

Available 24 hours, 7 days a week. See the Police Services website for contact information, or pick up the phone at any blue emergency kiosk on campus.

QuaSR (Math and Science Tutoring)

Tutoring for Spring Quarter will be offered remotely until further notice. See the QuaSR website for details.

Registration and Records (including Transcripts)

Open regular hours for inquiries by phone and email only. All dates and deadlines for Spring and Summer quarter registration, including add/drop deadlines, remain unchanged. Commonly used forms are available on the Registration and Records website.

Transcript ordering and delivery continues uninterrupted.


We are proceeding with reading scholarship applications. The reading process has changed significantly to allow remote reading.

We expect to be able to notify students of awards starting in April and continuing through June.

Student Technology Support

The Student Technology Support desk staff are working remotely and responding to submitted help request tickets.

We are not accepting in-person support requests or phone calls at this time.

Student Wellness Services

If you are experiencing an emergency or are suicidal, please call 911 or the Crisis Clinic at (360) 586-2800.

Student Wellness Services are limited to phone triage and referral until further notice; call (360) 867-6200, Monday through Friday. A provider will return your call before the end of the day.

Tacoma Program

Technology Support Center

Closed to walk-ups until further notice. Staff will continue to respond to phone calls, emails, and tickets, and to schedule appointments on site as appropriate. The doors to the office will remain closed during business hours.

Title IX

The Title IX office is open and working remotely regular hours, Monday – Friday, 8 am – 5 pm; email, or call (360) 918-1114. You may also submit a Title IX Reporting Form. The Title IX office is still providing all regular services during this time.

Veteran’s Resource Center

The Veterans Lounge and Veterans resource center is closed until further notice.

Veteran peer counselors and the Director of the Veterans Center are available via phone Monday – Friday, 8 am – 5 pm, to answer questions for veterans or dependents. Emails will be monitored 24/7.
