Tribal gaming has made incredible progress since it's taken off in the late 1980's. Through generating economic resources for sovereign tribal nations, this class will help you learn the foundations of tribal gaming, current policy issues that impact the gaming landscape and how to utilize an overall gaming strategy to not only generate revenue, but to build tribal economies. Through a combination of case studies, speakers and applied workshops we will provide a foundation transferrable to research or leadership positions. This not only includes tribal governments, business entities and elected leadership, but other tangential government leadership (i.e. local, state, Federal) and related industries.
