This includes the use of the studio's large space, backdrops, forms of light diffusion, and most critically, the studio's strobe lighting and continuous LED lighting. Students will learn by producing a number of studio-based images, such as portraits (figurative lighting more generally), still lifes, narrative tableaux, and more. Students will learn to use DSLRs and medium-format film cameras in order to make the most of the level of technical and creative control in a studio environment.
