This class is designed for students who either are, or plan to be, in the position of managing their own work groups, starting businesses, managing non-profits, heading up large companies, or serving in government. It will introduce basic management concepts, tools and problem-framing methodologies such as communication, managing in a global world, motivating others, managerial ethics, decision making, and leadership.
Monday, June 216:00 to 9:00 pm.Class will be taught online through Canvas, a chat room for live discussions, and email. Attendance at one zoom meeting is required: from Requests for alternative orientation arrangements considered on a case-by-case basis.
