This internship is designed to acquaint undergraduates with the field of veterinary medicine. Depending on student interest, the faculty will help coordinate job shadowing with veterinarians on farm calls or veterinary clinics; students are not expected to have existing contacts in the field, the faculty will provide those connections. Students will be expected to do research on the pathophysiology and treatment options of particular veterinary clinical cases that they encounter, and present them on a weekly basis to the faculty.
