In this course students will learn digital design tools and techniques in the context of representation of Native peoples' culturally present visual styles. In this third-of-three course, we'll apply skills with digital presentation tools in the Adobe Design Suite to substantive creative and written work with Native design. We'll continue our study of current problems of representation, cultural property, and artistic freedom through research and community involvement, and we'll produce written and creative work to integrate into page and presentation layouts. This course is intended to demystify digital design and publishing for students in Native fields of study.
