Employees sometimes face situations that suggest a conflict between a being a good employee and being a good person. We will study several approaches to ethics and use them to clarify ethical conflicts people face at work.  We will emphasize real-life situations from people’s working lives. This course will prepare you to be a more thoughtful, conscientious, and professional employee, as well as to navigate difficult ethical conflicts in the workplace. 

This offering will prepare you for careers and advanced study in:

any area that requires good ethical thinking and action.
