This class is a two week dance intensive workshop. The day begins with the Beamish Bodymind Balancing System, a core strengthening floor barre class. This system is used by professional dancers, singers and actors from around the work to help prevent injuries, increase flexibility, strength and focus while decreasing tension in the mind and body. Classical ballet follows.

The afternoons have a variety of classes ranging from modern, contemporary and other dance forms. Students may elect to take various classes within the workshop depending on the amount of credits they are signed up for. This course starts July 1 and goes to July 12th, Monday through Friday.

Beginners to advanced dancers are welcome.

Enrollment options:
Students may take both morning and afternoon classes for a total of 4 credits or the morning or afternoon session for 2 credits.  Dance clothing is required. Please contact faculty for details.
