Dance Immersion is a 2 week daily immersion into movement exploration with structure and non structured dance. The day begins with the Beamish Bodymind Balancing System, a core strengthening floor barre class. This system is used by professional dancers, singers and actors from around the world to help prevent injuries, increase flexibility, strength and focus while decreasing tension in the mind and body. Classical ballet follows on some days alternating with Contemporary dance and Authentic Movement. Classes will be held on Zoom. You will need a small space to move.

Beginners to advanced dancers are welcome. Dance clothing is required.

Our work will be conducted remotely, using Zoom. The faculty will offer alternative assignments if conditions or illness prevent students from accessing our synchronous meetings, which will allow students to earn full credit.
