Creative Writing: Advanced Projects
Creative Writing: Advanced Projects is an intensive writing course designed for students to begin, continue, or complete a writing project.
Students will engage with texts appropriate to expanding their skills and knowledge within their project areas; those texts and tools will be provided by the faculty in Week 2. Depending on genre, students will be placed in small groups or partnered for peer workshops following an established rubric for critical, yet positive feedback.
Weekly Discussion Forums on Canvas will be required. Virtual zoom classes (synchronous work) will be during Week 1 (March 28) and Week 2 (April 4) after which we will determine the workshop schedules and individual student meetings. This course will be primarily 70% asynchronous (at your own pace, remotely), with approximately 30% synchronous (via zoom at a scheduled date/time).
