In this class students will learn the foundations of ballet terminology and technique coupled with contemporary dance exploration. Yes, you can do this all in your living room or bedroom and have fun!
The class will focus on building core strength and flexibility, as well as developing a playful, creative attitude as we explore movement in class.
This class is for students from beginning to advanced levels of dance training. Please wear dance attire or comfortable stretch clothing; please have ballet slippers or socks to do some of the exercises.
Our work will be conducted remotely, using Zoom. The faculty will offer alternative assignments if conditions or illness prevent students from accessing our synchronous meetings, which will allow students to earn full credit. Classes meet on Tuesday nights from 5-6:50 starting June 22nd.
