College Physics II with laboratory will cover the second half of a year-long algebra-based College Physics curriculum, including Vibrations and Waves, Sound, Electric Charge and Fields, Electric Potential and Energy, Current and Resistance, DC Circuits, Magnetism, Induction, AC circuits, Light, Optics, and Quantum Physics. The course will include lecture and workshop time, hands-on exploration and lab work, and both solo and group activities. Fulfills requirements for pre-professional health programs.

This offering will prepare you for careers and advanced study in:

Masters in Teaching, mathematics, physics, chemistry, environmental studies. This course would be appropriate for pre-health requirements.

College Physics I or equivalent. Contact faculty if you have questions regarding your level of preparation.
