anatomy, physiology

Are you preparing for a healthcare career, or just curious about the body you live in? Anatomy and Physiology II with laboratory builds upon the first session with the continued study of structures and unique functions of the human body systems, including the endocrine, reproductive, cardiovascular, lymphatic & immune, respiratory, digestive, and urinary systems. An emphasis will be placed on real-world application of knowledge gained for each system. Laboratory includes virtual physiology simulations, dissections, and anatomical models. Hybrid (optional) option may include in-class dissection of animal heart and fetal pigs with appropriate social-distancing measures in place on top of laboratory safety procedures.

Our work will be conducted remotely, using Canvas and Zoom(unless conditions permit us for limited in-person activities). The faculty will offer alternative assignments if conditions or illness prevent students from accessing our synchronous meetings, which will allow students to earn comparable credit.
