Anatomy and Physiology I studies structure and related functions of the human body. Learn anatomical terminology, body organization, cells, four primary tissues and major body systems including the integumentary (skin), skeletal, muscular, and nervous systems. Laboratory experiences focus on identifying major skeletal components, muscle groups, and dissections of brains and eyes. Emphasis will be placed on real-world application for each body system. Students will gain appreciation for the complexity and wonder of the human body.

This hybrid model uses Canvas, Zoom, Visible Body software, and laboratory time. If conditions or illness prevent students from attending synchronous meetings or laboratory, alternative assignments will be offered.
