Learning Communities Regional Networks Regional networks offer rich opportunities for individuals new to learning communities to connect with faculty and staff working in established programs. They also provide experienced practitioners with opportunities to share new approaches and ideas with their peers, and mentor less experienced colleagues. Some regional consortiums host curriculum planning retreats and conferences, providing low-cost options for networking and professional development. The Washington Center staff is happy to help institutions develop regional learning community networks and events.
