Effective 2011-2012 Evergreen will be participating in the Yellow Ribbon Program

Please complete all sections of this form, sign it and submit it to the Office of Veterans Affairs by August 28, 2011.  Should awards be available during winter and spring quarters, applications must be submitted no earlier than 30 days prior to the start of the applicable quarter.  We currently have available eight awards which will be given to those undergraduate students with the greatest number of credits at the time the application is due. Our Office of Veterans Affairs has a permanent Veterans Coordinator, Rafael A. Lozano, (MSgt. Ret.) and a helpful staff of peer counselors who are attending school and receiving VA benefits.

 

Evergreen Awards You College Credits for Your Military Training

Academic credit for military training and military specialized course work may be obtained by application through the Admissions Office. You  will need to provide, a copy of your DD-214, a copy of your military transcripts or certificates of completion for specialized courses in order to evaluate your eligibility for college credit.

Evergreen is an active member and affiliated with The National Association of Veterans Programs Administrators, (NAVPA); The Western Association of Veterans Education Specialist, (WAVES), Service Opportunity Colleges, (SOC) and The National Association of Student Personnel Administrators (NASPA).
