Stadium 2011 Gradutes

 

Chanel Cole is now a student at Washington State University. She attended the Upward Bound field trip to the Pullman campus and knew it was the college for her.  She will be taking courses in the medical field at WSU. Chanel was also accepted to Gonzaga University, Pacific Lutheran University, Seattle University, and Portland State University.

 

 

    

Janessa Thomas is attending The Evergreen State College to pursue a career in nursing. She was awarded the Future Nurses Scholarship, the Governor’s Scholarship, and Evergreens Diversity Scholarship. She also applied to Eastern Washington University, Washington State University, and Western Washington University. She chose Evergreen for its supportive learning community.

 

  

 

Jamaun Harris is undecided on a major but is determined to go to college.  He applied to Seattle University, The Evergreen State College, and Central Washington University. He has decided to attend Evergreen because of the tolerant and supportive environment he experienced while in Upward Bound.

 

  

 

  

David Guskov is attending Tacoma Community College to pursue his dream of becoming a paramedic. As an immigrant from Russia, David has shown resilience and dedication adapting to American Culture and following his career goals.
