TRiO/KEY Pre-Orientation Programs

TRiO/KEY Student Support Services are thrilled to welcome you to The Evergreen State College. TRiO/KEY are comprehensive academic support service programs designed specifically for students who are first generation to college, low income, and/or have documented disabilities.  Our goal and mission is to support your academic and personal success here at Evergreen. We cordially invite you to participate in our early orientation program called Transition Days.

  •  Topics to be covered include: TRiO program overview, double check your financial aid and registration status, learn about other campus resources to support your education, overview of the common read and academic statement initiative, and plan for orientation week.
  •  Both days’ programming will be from 9-1pm in Seminar II A3105.
  • Light refreshments will be served in the morning; otherwise, students need to bring their own food and beverages.
  • The first 35 students to turn in their registration form will be invited to participate.
To Register: Please send an email to Key_trio@evergreen.edu and include in it your name, Student Identification Number (A#), and willingness to participate in Transition Days.

It's free! When you register you will be provided with a parking pass for the day.

Who will be there?

The TRiO/KEY experience is for first-year and transfer students new to Evergreen and who are eligible to receive TRiO/KEY services.

Other Pre-Orientation Programs at Evergreen

TRiO/KEY partners with the Scholars program. Find out more about Undergraduate Scholars Program. If you are participating in Scholars week, you will have the opportunity to learn more about TRiO/KEY services at that time and do not need to enroll in both programs.
