Four art studios upstairs with high ceilings and lots of natural light; excellent for two-and three-dimensional art. Ceramics, wood and metal shops and a three-dimensional art construction area are on the lower levels.
The central plaza that connects the majority of academic buildings is called Red Square. It's the main outdoor gathering place for many community activities including our spring graduation ceremony and Super Saturday. On warm days from spring to fall it's alive with students studying, socializing, playing music or just tossing a frisbee.

Our Children's Center occupies a new, 7,000 square foot building with 5 classrooms, lots of natural light and an outdoor playspace. Sliding fee rates for students with children make convenient childcare more accessible.

The College Activities Building (the CAB) has reopened after a complete renovation. Home to student organizations, KAOS Radio, Greener Store, Cafés, deli, and bike shop. The CAB is the community gathering space at the center of the campus.
The Communications Laboratory Building (the COM Building) is where students working in dance, music, theater, film, animation and other performing and media arts disciplines spend a lot of their time. There's always something going on in the COM Building.

The CRC has a gymnasium with three basketball courts, activity rooms, the Wellness Center, 11-lane swimming pool, racquetball courts, indoor and outdoor rock climbing walls weight rooms and more. Students may reserve racquetball courts and check out equipment: from basketballs and racquets to hiking gear and cross-country skis.

Traditional residential living with a variety of floor-plans. Housing is a short walk from classes and all on-campus resources. The Housing Community Center, where you can play a game of pool, hang with friends or gather around the big-screen, is right next door. Housing is served by an excellent local transit system which all students ride for free.

"The Soup" consists of traditional, apartment-style units (named for their alphabet addresses). Residences are a short walk from classes and all on-campus resources. The apartment-style units (not visible on map) are clustered together in a beautiful "Evergreen" location. Come to the Housing Community Center and grab a bite to eat, play a game of pool or get together with friends in front of the big-screen. Housing is served by an excellent local transit system which students ride for free.

Scientific laboratories, classrooms and faculty offices where students and faculty conduct independent and collaborative research in the sciences using a variety of tools and high-tech resources.

Lab II is unique – you'll find a neon lab (where glassblowing also takes place), a printmaking studio where students learn letterpress, etching, lithography, silk screening and batik. There's fine metals and weaving studios and even a geology lab. On the first floor, check out the Computer Applications Lab (CAL).

There are five halls; two large and three small. Used for entire academic program meetings, films and lecture/presentations. Each is equipped with high-tech media presentation and recording equipment.

The design of the Longhouse is based on historical longhouse structures and traditions of Northwestern Coastal Native American communities. It is the only building of its kind on a public college campus in the nation. All-natural landscaping was used to show where water meets the land.

A trail behind the two Lab buildings leads to the Organic Farm. Students interested in sustainable agriculture practices and organic farming get hands-on experience on a small-scale. Check out some amazing projects designed by students to produce everything from biodiesel to vermiculture and even a bunch of chickens. The Farmhouse itself is a unique facility – great for potlucks, workshops and cultural events. During harvest times you can buy eggs, flowers and fresh organic produce right on campus.

The Health & Counseling Centers (available to current students), The EF International School of English, Police Services and Parking are located in the Seminar Building (not to be confused with Seminar II).

Evergreen's campus includes over 1,000 acres of lush forest and 3,300 feet of unspoiled beach on Puget Sound. The entire campus serves as a natural laboratory for scientific field research and provides inspiration for creative work. Teaching Gardens on campus promote environmentally sustainable landscaping and showcase native plants. Trails throughout the forest and nearby lead to swimming, boating, beachcombing, jogging and cycling areas.

Evergreen has its own beach – 3,300 feet of unspoiled waterfront on Eld Inlet of Puget Sound. The beach is not only perfect for scientific field research and inspiring creative work – it's a great place to get away and relax. Finding your way to the beach is easy – take one of the well-marked trails through the campus forest.

Parking is available adjacent to student housing and convenient to all buildings. Students, staff, faculty and visitors can park on campus. Parking isn't free (except on weekends), but it is cheap. Alternate transportation is encouraged at Evergreen. Take the bus (free for students and employees), carpool, jog, walk or ride a bike.

The largest part of the recreation facilities has no walls — unless you consider the forested borders. Athletic fields at Evergreen are used by everyone from ultimate frisbee players to collegiate soccer and football teams to stargazers. A recreation pavillion that's protected from weather is located adjacent to the fields.
