Colin Koopman on "Infopolitics"

Colin Koopman is an assistant professor of philosophy at the University of Oregon, where he has also been a resident scholar at the Wayne Morse Center for Law and Politics. He is the author of GENEALOGY AS CRITIQUE (2013) and PRAGMATISM AS TRANSITION (2009) and is working on a book about infopolitics. Professor Koopman graduated from The Evergreen State College in 1998, and we are very much looking forward to hearing from him on his most recent research.

All students planning to study abroad need to attend one of the listed study abroad pre-departure orientation workshops as part of the approval process.  Be sure to bring your completed Travel Waiver Form, a completed Health Review Form, and Proof of Insurance that covers you while studying abroad.

Wildlands Studies Field Projects Information Table

Wildlands Studies field projects provide students with the opportunity to join backcountry study teams as working field associates, studying environmental impact assessment, environmental policy, geologic, climatic and topographic factors that support various habitats, and the relationships between environments and culture.  Most participants are undergraduates who join us on site from all over North America and Canada.  Each program grants 5-15 units of upper division semester credit that easily transfers to The Evergreen State College.  Project teams consist of 8-16 participants working w
