How to order computer hardware and software
1) Click on model (below) you are interested in
2) Fill out contact information
3) Make product selections
4) Review for accuracy
5) Click SEND
6) Marshall will review your request and send you a price quote.
7) If you approve, quote needs to be returned by an authorized budget unit head with the account number to be charged for the purchase.
8) Your order will be placed.
9) When your new equipment arrives, your old equipment will be removed and put into the general college pool of reserve equipment. Your computer will not be re-deployed without specific approval from your Budget Dean (Academics) or budget coordinator (other divisions).
10) Prepare your old machine for replacement by uploading all important files to your H: drive on the network, or backing up your files to Zip disks, CDs, or DVDs. TSS can assist you with this if you need help.
11) Once your equipment has arrived and been set up, an appointment will be made with you for installation.

Desktop
General use: Office applications, graphics, for anyone who doesn't need mobility. Tower computers tend to be more powerful than their mobile counterparts.
Laptop

General use: Office applications, some graphics applications. Primarily for those who need mobility over computer power.

Tablet
General use: Office applications, those who require high mobility or who really want to bond with their computer. Is a tablet PC for me?
