Selection of Vendors
Super Saturday has always attracted high quality food vendors. This year we plan to continue our efforts to provide the greatest variety of quality food. We are interested in selecting experienced vendors with past success at Super Saturday, but we are most interested in encouraging vendors who have no electrical requirements and local non-profit groups who will emphasize the spirit of community celebration. Non-electric and 20 amp standard booth spaces will be provided for currently registered students and TESC sponsored campus groups at half the listed price. Proof of status must be provided at time of application by submitting a copy of either the group's bylaws or validated identification.
Type of Spaces Available
Please note that fees help cover the cost of providing and maintaining the wash trailer to Thurston County health standards. Also note that the depth for all booth spaces is 8'. The college has allowed an additional 2' for serving areas which may be covered by an awning; the maximum depth for any booth space is, therefore, 10'. Because the college must maintain fire lanes as well as adequate room for foot traffic, this width will be strictly enforced. Awnings or serving areas exceeding this width will not be allowed.
NOTE: Due to the re-modeled Library Building, vendor spaces previously located under the overhang have been moved. Please be prepared for inclement weather when planning for Super Saturday.

Power Availablity
Each year we provide a limited number of spaces with 120 volt, 20 amp single circuit power for food vendors. These circuits are available within ten feet of the booth space. The plug-in box has four outlets for standard 120 volt three prong plugs. To determine your electrical needs, locate the tags on each piece of your equipment that states how many amps and volts are required to operate that piece of equipment. (Because the college supplies only 120 volt power, anything requiring higher voltage will not be usable at this event.) Add the amperage requirements for each piece of equipment together to arrive at the total amps you will need.
For example, a deep fat fryer might use 12 amps, a refrigerator might use 4 amps for a total of 16 amps. This means you would require a space with one 120 volt, 20 amp circuit. If your equipment requires up to 32 amps, request a space with two 120 volt, 20 amp circuits. Keep in mind that each 20 amp circuit can handle only 16 amps continuously … if you try to overload it, you will experience constant interruptions in service. Be sure to request an adequate power supply in your application as the college only has a limited supply, and it will be impossible to get more on Super Saturday.
NOTE: Power is limited and additional circuits cannot be supplied on the day of the event. In the past we have experienced a large number of tripped circuits because extra appliances were plugged into power strips or non-power booth vendors “borrowed” a plug from a neighboring booth. Just because there are four outlets in a power strip, that does not mean four appliances can be plugged into it. That's why it is important to calculate the number of amps your equipment needs to operate…this ensures that vendors with powered booths will be able to maintain operations.
NOTE: NO GENERATORS WILL BE ALLOWED ON CAMPUS
