Note: These are deadlines for universities on a quarter system. Please check with your home/host institution for institutional deadlines.
Selection Process
Check with your campus representative for details on the selection process. Selection is based on your application essay, three faculty recommendations, transcripts, and interviews. The applicant's academic standing, motivation, and flexibility are factors that will be taken into account during the selection process.
Applications/Application Fees
Submit your completed CIMAS application and your home/host institution fee (if applicable) by the deadline indicated above. A nonrefundable program deposit of $300.00 is due at the time of acceptance and will be applied to your program cost. Check with your home/host institution for any additional application fees.

Financial Aid
Most forms of financial aid, such as loans and grants, for which you are eligible at your home institution, may be applied to the cost of the program.
Costs/Academic Calendar
The CIMAS programs operate on a quarter system that roughly corresponds to the academic calendars of the four-year public institutions in Washington State.

Transfer Credit
Credit from the CIMAS program is directly transferrable to the Washington State four-year public universities including:
- The Evergreen State College
- Western Washington University
- The University of Washington
- Washington State University
- plus Seattle University
Universities award credits based on the 160 hours of instruction for the program. Upon successful completion of the program and review by departmental advisors, credit often satisfies major/minor and internship requirements.
