Many part-time and seasonal job opportunities are available in Olympia and Tacoma. The Student Employment Office makes all information about part-time job opportunities available through the CODa database.

The Student Employment Office helps students by managing the CODa database, developing local part-time jobs, ensuring data gets entered into the payroll system so they get paid, and provides information and individual support in conducting a search for part-time work.

When you are conducting your job search, be sure to think about how work or other experiences you apply for might be a part of your overall educational plan. You can use volunteer and community service experiences as well as work experiences to round out your resume. Supervisors of internships and volunteer experiences can write letters of recommendation for your portfolio as well as your current or past employment supervisors.
