Olympia Microcomputer User Group Scholarship
Amount: $1,000
Due Date: February 1
Offered to a new or currently enrolled student residing in Thurston or Mason county for at least one year at the time of the award who demonstrates a keen interest in pursuing computer studies and increasing community knowledge of computer use. Preference will be given to a student whose educational and community service background includes previous related experience. The student must be enrolled at least half time for the 2013-14 academic year. Financial need may also be considered.
Requirements
- Letter of application addressing residency, background, goals and how your studies will further those goals and focus on computer utilization and increasing community knowledge of computer use. Backgrounds, goals and studies can include any type of computer utilization. Include a statement related to your financial need.
- Two letters of recommendation written within the past year from individuals, other than relatives, who can speak to your interest.
