The Jackie Robinson Memorial Scholarship

Amount: $2,897. Three awarded.
Deadline: February 1, 2010

Offered to new transfer and currently enrolled students of color (African American, Asian, Hispanic, Native American) attending full time. This scholarship seeks to recognize a student for academic achievement and outstanding commitment to community involvement and social justice. Preference will be given to a student demonstrating financial need and who transferred from Seattle Central Community College.

• Letter of application illustrating your academic achievement and outstanding commitment to community involvement and social justice.
• Two letters of recommendation written within the past year.
