First Peoples' Scholarship

Amount: Varying amounts up to the value of resident tuition for 18 credits.
Due Date: February 1

Offered to new students of color (African American, Asian, Hispanic, Native American) entering Evergreen Fall Quarter 2013 as full-time undergraduate students. Scholarships will be awarded to students who have distinguished themselves in a wide range of areas, e.g., high academic achievement, community service, music, art, journalism, science, etc.

Requirements

  • Letter of application explaining your achievements and why you wish to be considered for this scholarship.
  • Unofficial transcripts from high school and/or previous colleges (see Steps to Take #3A & B). These are in addition to transcripts submitted for admission.
  • Three letters of recommendation written within the past year from individuals, other than relatives, who are familiar with your achievements.

Note: If you are eligible to apply for this scholarship, you should consider applying for the Foundation Scholarship and Rita Sevcik Scholarship.
