First Peoples' Scholarship

Amount: Equal to undergraduate resident tuition up to 18 credits. Multiple awards.
Deadline: February 2, 2009

Offered to new students of color (African American, Asian, Hispanic, Native American) entering Evergreen Fall Quarter 2010 as full time undergraduate students. Scholarships will be awarded to students who have distinguished themselves in a wide range of areas, e.g., high academic achievement, community service, music, art, journalism, science, etc.

Requirements

• Letter of application explaining your achievements and why you wish to be considered for this scholarship.
• Unofficial transcripts from high school and/or previous colleges. These are in addition to transcripts submitted for admission.
• Three letters of recommendation written within the past year from individuals, other than relatives, who are familiar with your achievements.
