Snowshoe Bowl Snowshoe Trip

“The south district of the Mount Tahoma Trails Association (MTTA) network offers spectacular snow recreation, even though you're seldom above 4500 feet. Though the route is relatively low, you'll generally find good snow, and great views of impressive mountains and craggy peaks are to be had. From the ridge above Snow Bowl, you can stare north to Mount Rainier, while closer at hand, the dark wall of High Rock stands like a black monolith to the east. Griffin Mountain looms to the southeast.” - Washington Trails Association

Join the Outdoor Program on an adventurous day of snowshoeing just outside Mount Rainier national park. With the hope of good weather we can expect beautiful views and fun times. With several turnaround options and moderate elevation gain the hike can be tailored to the enjoyment of the group! Pack warm clothes and a lunch for the trail and get ready to enjoy the great outdoors. Remember to attend the mandatory pre-trip meeting for more information.
