Rock Climbing at Smith Rock

“Smith Rock State Park protects a sanctuary of majestic rock spires that rise above the winding Crooked River in central Oregon’s high desert.  It is an internationally renowned destination for rock climbing.” –Oregon State Parks

Brand new climbers and veterans alike will enjoy this 3 day climbing trip down South to the warmer climes of central Oregon!  Considered by many to be the premier climbing destination in the Northwest this is a great way for experienced climbers to get out of state and onto the rock and for those interested in just seeing what climbing and its culture are all about.  Experienced TOP Staff will teach the fundamentals of belaying, top rope and lead climbing and set folks up on routes suitable for their experience level.  NO PRIOR EXPERIENCE NECESSARY!  If you’re a first timer, you’ll be in great hands and there is no better place to learn!  All climbing equipment, camping gear and food provided by TOP.
