Ballet Class

Classes are held in the CRC as well. Many of the Leisure Education classes are dance related. There are three large dance rooms located in the CRC. One of the rooms has a partial hardwood floor and linoleum tile. The other two are linoleum tile throughout the room. The rooms are quite sound proof to the rest of the CRC. These rooms hold large dance classes easily. More pictures...

Fields / Track

Soccer Player

The CRC is not just confined to walls, in fact the largest part of the CRC has no walls. The fields at Evergreen State College are used by everyone from ultimate frisbee players to collegiate soccer and football teams. With as many as four fields and one oval1/4 mile dirt track, there is usually enough space to hold them all at once. Any of these fields can be used for soccer, and most can hold a full size football field. The Geoduck soccer teams compete and practice on these beautiful fields as well as local community college soccer teams and semi-pro football teams. The fields are also host to the University of Washington's fall football camp. The CRC fields are also available for every day use, whether it be throwing a baseball, kicking a soccer ball or just catching some sun. More pictures...

Gymnasium

Basketball Game

The Gymnasium holds over 2,200 people. The gym contains three full volleyball courts, two full size basketball courts, six basketball hoops, eight badminton courts, and a top quality sound system. There is also a third bay of the gym that contains both a full volleyball court and a basketball court. With a removable wall the third bay can be its own court or part of the main gym. The gym is home to the Geoduck basketball teams, and the women's volleyball team. With the exception of a couple of hours a day, during the fall and winter quarters of intercollegiate team practice, the gym is usually open for use. If you want to practice your jump shot or put your hard work to use in a pick up game or bump a volleyball around with your friends, there is plenty of time and space to do it in the gym.
