Director of Residential and Dining Services

Sharon Goodman

The Director of Residential and Dining Services provides strategic leadership and is responsible for the residence halls and dining services at Evergreen. The Director supervises three assistant directors, administration, facilities and residential life, and provides leadership to eight full-time professional staff and approximately 75 to 150 undergraduate staff members in Residential and Dining Services. The Director of Residential and Dining Services reports to the Vice President of Student Affairs.

Assistant Director for Residential Facilities

Mark Lacina

The Assistant Director for Residential Facilities is responsible for the daily administration of the facilities in Housing. He supervises three professional full-time staff and provides leadership to 45 to 150 undergraduate student staff members, depending on the time of year. The Assistant Director for Residential Facilities reports to the Director of Residential and Dining Services .

Assistant Director for Residential Life

Michael Sledge

The Assistant Director for Residential Life is responsible for the daily administration and management of the residence-life program consisting of 900 resident students. He supervises four professional full-time staff and provides leadership to approximately 35 undergraduate staff members. He has responsibility for occupancy management, emergency planning and assessment. The Assistant Director for Residential Life reports to the Director of Residential and Dining Services.

Buildings/Grounds Supervisor

Ray Ruiz

The Buildings/Grounds Supervisor oversees day-to-day operations of custodians, grounds, residential maintenance (day and night), linen, auxiliary services and the key shop. He supervises two professional positions, acts as in-house project foreman and provides leadership to 45 to 150 student staff, depending on the season. The Buildings/Grounds Supervisor reports to the Assistant Director for Residential Facilities.

Engineering Technician

Steve Johnson

The Engineering Technician provides heating, ventilation and air-conditioning (HVAC), electrical, plumbing and AutoCAD services. He reports to the Maintenance/Custodial Supervisor.

Fiscal Technician

Liza Rendon

The Fiscal Technician provides services related to room billing, payroll, purchasing, and department budgeting. She reports to the Assistant Director for Administration.

Office Support Supervisor

Susan Stapleton

The Office Support Supervisor provides staff support and reports to the director of Residential and Dining Services, manages and coordinates the activities of the front office and provides office and administrative support for professional staff in the department.

Resident Director for Apartment Style

Britt Hoover

The Resident Director for Apartment Style facilitates and promotes a safe living/learning residential community. She supervises an area staff of Resident Assistants. The Resident Director reports to the Assistant Director for Residential Life.

Security/Safety/Emergency Response/ADA Compliance

Matt Lebens

This position reports to the Buildings/Grounds Supervisor and is responsible for the following:

• Maintaining all locks, doors and keys within the residential complex. 
• Ensuring the proper function of the residential fire-safety systems.
• Management of Injury/Illness Reporting System.  Ensure adherence to occupational safety standards.
• Development, coordination and implementation of RAD Emergency Response Plan. 
• Training, mentorship and supervision of 12-person staff/volunteer Emergency Response Team.
• Acting as liaison between Access Services and RAD Front Office in order to ensure ADA compliance.

Resident Director for First Year Buildings A and B

M'Liss DeWald

The Resident Director for Freshman facilitates and promotes a safe living/learning residential community. She supervises an area staff of Resident Assistants. The Resident Director reports to the Assistant Director for Residential Life

Resident Director for Programming and First Year Building C

Melissa Turkington

The Resident Director for Programming and First Year Building C facilitates and promotes a healthy and socially engaged community.  She provides leadership and advice to the Greener Organization.   She supervises an area staff of Resident Assistants and promotes a safe living/learning residential community.  The Resident Director reports to the Assistant Director for Residential Life.

Resident Director for First Year Buildings D, E, and F

Alyise Bernardino

The Resident Director for Freshman facilitates and promotes a safe living/learning residential community. She supervises an area staff of Resident Assistants. The Resident Director reports to the Assistant Director for Residential Life.

Residential Information Technology Manager

Noel McHugh

The Housing Information Technology manager provides planning, implementation and maintenance of information technology resources. He supervises five student Resident Technicians. He is responsible for network and communications infrastructure, databases, web applications and technology support services. The Residential Information Technology manager reports to the Assistant Director for Administration.
