Housing Assignments

How Assignments are Made

Basic Information

• All buildings are co-ed.
• Apartments and studios are assigned by gender.
• Non-students are not eligible for housing without prior approval.

Priority Date

• Applicants are assigned in groups by priority date.
• Your priority date is the date you submitted the Online Rental Application.

Groups are processed in the following order:

1. Applicants with special needs, those with physical challenges, and live-in Residential and Dining Services staff who apply on time.
2. High school direct students, and students who will be under 18 years of age as of September 15 who apply on time.
3. Current Residents who apply on time.
4. All other applicants who apply on time.
5. Late applicants who missed the application deadline.
