| Wheel-Lock (Boot) Fee | $35.00 |
Boots & Tows Parking Enforcement boots a vehicle when the vehicle fits any one of these situations:
1) If a vehicle displays an altered permit.
2) If a vehicle is parked at an expired meter for over 1 hour. If the boot fee and expired meter citatoins are not paided within 4 hours, the vehicle is towed at the owners expense.
3) If you have at least 3 tickets, the oldest being at least 90 days old, your car is eligible to be booted. If a wheel lock is placed on your vehicle you will need to come into the parking service office and will be required to pay the boot fee ($35) as well as all of your current unpaid tickets. Once the fines are paid, the wheel lock will be removed. If you feel you cannot pay these charges and are currently enrolled you may have the option to send these charges to student accounts. If the boot fee and citations are not paid within 24 hours, the vehicle is towed at the owners expense.
Unattened vehicles in firelanes, service roads, and other unauthorized aresas may be immediately towed at owners expense.
