Spring New Student Orientation
We are excited you have made the choice to become a Greener! The New Student Programs team has been working to make your transition to Evergreen a positive and enjoyable experience.
New Student Orientation, Spring
Within one week of being admitted for spring quarter, students will receive an email invitation to sign up for orientation. If you haven’t received this email, please contact New Student Programs.
Orientation will consist of two required steps:
All new students will complete a self-paced online tutorial. This tutorial will teach you how to navigate the tools, resources, and processes you will encounter as a greener. Once you're done, you should be prepared to select and register for your fall quarter program.
The Tutorial will become available in early February and you will be notified when it's ready. You should plan to complete the tutorial before your orientation session.
Orientation Session - Sign Up for One Option Below
You'll have three different options for your orientation session. Each option is slightly different so be sure to choose the option that works best for you. Click on the link to sign up.
This option will be most informative for new students because it includes attendance at our quarterly Academic Fair. The Academic Fair is a great time to meet faculty, learn more about your options, and get faculty signatures if they are required for registration.
Check-in begins at 11 am and students should be checked-in no later than 11:45 am. Light refreshments will be served.
- 11 am - 12 pm | Check-In and Resource Fair
- 12 pm - 1:45 pm | Information Sessions
- 2 pm - 3:45 pm | Student/Faculty Workshops
- 4 pm - 6 pm | Academic Fair
The Saturday session is designed for students who can't attend midweek. The Academic Fair is not an option on Saturday but you will still be meeting with faculty, staff, and current students during this session.
Check-in begins at 8:30 am and you should be checked-in no later than 9:15 am. Light refreshments will be served.
- 8:30 am - 9:30 am | Check-In and Resource Fair
- 9:30 am - 11:15 am | Information Sessions
- 11:30 am - 1:15 pm | Student/Faculty Workshops
Alternate appointments are designed for students who can't attend the above sessions. Once you reserve your spot, we will contact you within three business days to schedule a phone or in-person appointment with an academic advisor.
