The Office of Institutional Research and Assessment works to improve educational effectiveness through the assessment of teaching and learning, the evaluation of educational practices and services, and the ongoing reporting of demographic and evaluative data for institutional decision making and external reporting.
Our work includes three major areas

Evergreen Student Experience Survey 2017
The Evergreen Student Experience Survey is administered every other spring quarter to a sample of undergraduates. The survey gathers information about student satisfaction with Evergreen's learning environment, learning growth in various skill areas, goals for their college experience, level of confidence, utilization of campus resources, and participation in community activities.
Evergreen One-Year Alumni Survey 2016
The One-Year Alumni Survey is administered every other year to undergraduate alumni who earned their baccalaureate degrees the previous year. The survey collects data on alumni employment, graduate/professional program, and volunteer work outcomes. Alumni also provide feedback on their learning and experiences and offer advice to current students on how to make the most of their Evergreen education.
End-of-Program Review (EPR) 2015 – 16
The End-of-program Review (EPR) assessment was created to help the college recognize and articulate curricular offerings. Results of the End-of-program Review provide information about content of programs, including information about community-based projects and service learning in programs, compelling intellectual experiences, and successful pedagogical practices. Strategic National Arts Alumni Project (SNAAP) Survey
The SNAAP is an online survey that provides national data on how artists develop and helps identify factors that better connect arts training to artistic careers. Evergreen joined 55 other higher education institutions during the 2015 administration of the SNAAP survey.
