Campus Services

The "Greener Store" is located in the College Activities Building and is the place to find a wide variety of books, school and office supplies, computer software, gifts, novelties, newspapers, snacks and Evergreen clothing.

Computer Center

Availability of the Computer Center's PC and Macintosh labs depends on Evergreen's academic program needs. With adequate advance notice—and provided space is open—we can make arrangements for use of the Computer Center. Rates are based on your equipment and software needs and are available upon request.

Copy Center & Copy Machines

Evergreen's copy center is located in the Bookstore.  Let us know if you require duplicating services for your program; we are happy to coordinate an arrangement that best meets your needs. Cost for this service would be included in your final billing.

The Daniel J. Evans Library is open to conference delegates for on-site research; however, books must remain in the Library. These are some of the Library's resources:

  • 240,000 books
  • 30,000 reference volumes
  • 2,000 periodical subscriptions
  • Access to books and periodicals through computerized databases

Pay phones and beige courtesy phones are located throughout campus. Courtesy phones may be used for free local calls (dial 9 before the number) or for on-campus extensions. Rooms in the residence halls are not equipped with phones. Please contact your Conference Coordinator for phone installation.

Police Services

The Department of Police Services office is located in the Seminar Building and is open year round, 24 hours a day. Officers patrol the campus by foot, bicycles and cars. Any serious injury, crime or security problem should be promptly reported to Police Services at extension 6140. Their direct number from off campus is (360) 867-6832.

Medical Facilities

Evergreen's Health Center is closed during the summer. All injuries will be handled by staff, Police Services or, if necessary, by paramedic units.   All injuries and medical emergencies should be brought to the attention of the Conference staff as soon as possible.
