What We Do

Network Services is responsible for enterprise wide development, installation and maintenance of network, systems and database software for The Evergreen State College. Providing network resources for The Evergreen State College, collectively the team performs the installation, troubleshooting and maintenance of the following:

  • Messaging services including email, discussion groups, and news.
  • Server operating system support (Windows, OpenVms, Linux) including backups and general maintenance.
  • Enterprise wide Database services.
  • Enterprise wide network operating systems including account management, file and print services Provide internet/intranet network service (e.g. DHCP, DNS, WINS)
  • Network Infrastructure - LAN and WAN networks including hubs switches, routers, access servers, firewalls, wireless access points.
  • Computer Center Technical Support - Hardware and software installation and maintenance for student computing classrooms.
