Publishing: Network File Share on MacIntosh

Editing Web Pages via Network File Services for Macintosh

In order to edit web files from Macintosh, you must first learn to connect to the appropriate network share from the chooser.

  1. From the Apple Menu select the Chooser .
  2. Select the AppleShare icon
  3. Select the External zone in the lower left list-box of the chooser.
  4. Select the server Bluff or Coyote depending on whether you are publishing to www.evergreen.edu or academic.evergreen.edu respectively.

You should be prompted for a login name and password. When specifying a login name, be sure and indicate the domain name as well using the convention domain\username, where domain is replaced by the appropriate NT domain you login to.

Edit the web page as you would normally on a Macintosh.
