MPA Application Dates & Deadlines at Evergreen

September 1, 2009: Begin accepting applications for Fall 2010 admission for the MPA-Tribal Governance concentration. The Tribal Governance concentration only admits students every other year.  The next cohort for this concentration begins in Fall 2010. Get more information now about admission requirements and application procedures. Please contact Maggie McCarty, Assistant Director-MPA Tribal, at (360) 867-6202. We encourage you to apply as soon as possible: note that you do not have to wait until your application materials are complete in order to apply.

September 1, 2009: Begin accepting applications for Fall 2010 admission. Students begin the MPA program once a year, in the Fall. Get more information now about admission requirements and application procedures. In the meantime, if you have a bachelor's degree you can try out the MPA program and take MPA elective courses as a non-admitted student (see more info above).

September 28, 2009: First day of Fall 2009 quarter and first day that non-admitted graduate special students and undergraduates can register for open MPA electives. If you have a bachelor's degree you can take MPA elective courses as a Graduate Special Student, and up to 12 MPA graduate elective credits will count towards your MPA degree if you are later admitted to the program. For details access the recent MPA Fall 2009 Course Registration and Elective Info document under "Fall 2009" on our MPA Course and Schedule Information page.

January 2, 2010: The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) may begin to be submitted by current MPA students and Fall 2010 applicants. See the MPA financial aid page for details. Note that Fall 2010 applicants can complete the FAFSA even though they have not yet submitted their MPA application materials OR been admitted to the MPA program: they do not have to wait.

February 16, 2010: Priority deadline to receive MPA application materials for Fall 2010 admission.

May 1, 2010: Expected deadline for submission of the 2010-11 MPA Financial Aid Application Packet, which will be posted on the MPA financial aid page by February 1, 2010.
