Admissions Requirements and Application
For the cohort beginning Fall 2009: Applications for the 2009-2011 cohort will be accepted starting October 1, 2008. The early application deadine is January 5, 2009. The regular application deadline is April 27, 2009. Applications completed after the April 27 deadline will be considered on a space available basis.

- The application form (PDF) is the official application form.
- The content preparation expectations describe the coursework that applicants should complete before starting the MIT program for their chosen teaching areas.
- The general prerequisite requirements describe the required social studies, writing, and math prerequisites for all applicants.
- The endorsment policies are to be read before completing endorsment worksheets.
- The endorsement worksheets are the forms to be filled out by the applicant, describing his/her subject matter background in each (one or two) teaching area.
- The WEST B and WEST E Entrance Tests are two required state tests for admission to the MIT program.
