Individual Appointments

Come and smell the fir trees, eat some local food, skip rocks on Eld Inlet, and enjoy the misty rain! If you've never been to campus before (and even if you have), we highly recommend that you set up a one-on-one meeting with the MES Assistant Director - we'll even pay the parking! We'll also have a current student ambassador take you out to coffee or a meal. Hours are generally Monday through Friday, 9am-12pm and 1pm-5pm. Appointments are advised. The best time to set up a meeting is at 10am, 1pm, or 4pm so that you can partake in a campus tour, which is given every day at 11:30am and 2:30pm from the Admissions office (reservations not needed). If you're interested in attending an MES core program, offered on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 6-8pm, the Assistant Director can also arrange that for you. Every quarter, current MES students present their thesis research as part of their graduation requirements. Prospective students are encouraged to attend!
