MES Graduate Student Associations
The Master of Environmental Studies Graduate Student Association is dedicated to addressing the academic and social needs of the MES students. The Graduate Student Association designs its events and services to increase student involvement in campus, community and larger-world environmental issues.
To achieve its goals, the Master of Environmental Studies Graduate Student Association organizes and initiates numerous events and services during the academic year to strengthen not only the graduate community but also the campus and neighboring communities. In addition to lectures, workshops, panel discussions, films and social events, the Graduate Student Association has provide the following: assistance with first-year student orientation; membership to environmental organizations; stipends for conference registration; the Rachel Carson Environmental Forum; and the Super Saturday Smoothie Booth fundraiser.
Unified Graduate Student Association Mission Statement
To represent and strengthen the graduate student community through social, political and educational collaboration. The Unified Graduate Student Association was formed in 1997 and serves as Evergreen's first recognized student government.
