From 2001-2006 I completed my undergraduate studies at Evergreen as a media student. I was a Mediaworks kid and went on to complete a year-long internship as the Multimedia Lab Intern while continuing my creative work in the SOS Media program. In my final year at Evergreen I worked as temporary staff and completed a one-quarter Senior Thesis project.
I have been employed as student/permanent staff in the offices of Media Loan and Electronic Media since 2003.
While I have a wide range of experience working with anything media I am definitely a visual person. Editing, special effects, and animation are what I have the most inclination towards. If I were to order a production facility sandwich I would have to say "give me the Multimedia Lab with Final Cut Studio and After Effects on the side."
I am one of the two staff that is responsible for signing off on individual and internship contracts that "requires the use of special resources such as facilities and equipment." I process Media Request Forms, coordinate and teach instructional workshops for academic programs, help oversee the Electronic Media Front desk operations and manage the animation facilities.
