Electronic Media
Electronic Media (EM) provides technical media instruction, facility support
for Animation, Audio Studios, Film Editing, Music Tech Labs, Video Editing plus
production support for campus events. EM also supports A/V-equipped spaces
across campus. Their front desk is located across the hall from the MML in the
library.
Media Loan
Before coming to the MultiMedia Lab you might want to check out Media Loan to
get equipment for your production materials such as a camera.
Located at Library 2504 they are nearnly directly above our lab. Media Loan
circulates audio/video and photographic equipment to Evergreen
students, faculty and staff.
Photoland
Located down the hall from us, Photoland is the home of Photo Production Services,
The Digital Imaging Studio and the Darkrooms. Like the MML these facilites are
open to all enrolled student, staff and faculty of the Evergreen State College.
Sound and Image Library
The Sound and Image Library (SAIL) provides multimedia materials and staff to
support academic endeavors of patrons on and off campus. Anyone can browse and
use our collection of LP's, CD's, audio cassettes, slides, VHS video tapes, and
DVD's while in the SAIL. Videos, DVDs, and laserdiscs can be checked out by
faculty and students only; the rest of our collection (with the exception of
the 16mm film collection) is available to checkout by community borrowers as well.
Academic Computing
In Academic Computing (AC) curricular programs and faculty are supported by
liaisons with a focus on student computer competencies, program activities,
instructional technology, Computer Center usage and classroom space, and workshops
(see our brochure). Located at across the hall from the library enterence on the
2nd floor of the library building, The Computer Center provides student access
to computers, network resources, printers, computer storage, web space, workshops, and
consultation at the consultant’s desk.
