Access PoliciesTo gain access to the lab or 24 hours suites you must complete a proficiency workshop. Call the Multimedia Lab at 360-867-5455 or the Electronic Media Desk at 360-867-6270 to schedule a proficiency. During Spring Quarter proficiencies are on Wednesdays from 4:00 to 5:00. Reserving Time on a Workstation:• You may schedule up to 8 hours per week, 4 hours per day, and up to one week in advance. • Students with Media Request Forms can schedule time based on their allocation. • Students enrolled in media programs can schedule up to 8 hours a week up to a month in advance. • Walk-ins must reserve a station at time of arrival. • The 24-hour Non-Linear Suites must be reserved at Media Loan and you must check out keys to gain access. • To schedule time ask a lab consultant or call us at 867-5455. When you arrive for your reserved time: Login at the front desk. Fill in the fields provided with your name, the time you arrive, the station, and indicate the academic program you are enrolled in. It is very important that you show up ON TIME. If you are more than 15 minutes late you may lose your time slot. If you will be late you can call BEFORE your reservation starts and push it back by one hour. If you are late or a no-show repeatedly you may lose lab access .
