Film Editing
16mm film editing options at Evergreen include bench editing, with or without sound, flatbed editing, and home edit kits (which can be checked out through Media Loan). Film post-production facilities are located in the Communications Building (COM) and supervised by Electronic Media staff in Media Services.

Magnasync/Moviola
Students typically access this equipment by participating in editing workshops offered in the context of a film program or course. Individual requests for access can be made through the Dave Cramton, (360) 867-5505. Become familiar with the written guide on using the Moviola (available at Media Loan) before making a proficiency test appointment. Your appointment will be made as staff time allows. Use of the equipment must be academically justified.
The Magnasync/Moviola is a six plate flatbed editing table with one composite sound picture head and two magnetic sound heads.
