2D/3D Animation
Overview
Currently there are two 2D Animation Labs and one 3D Animation Lab. The Library 2D Animation Lab is available 24/7. The COM 2D and 3D Animation Labs are available only during open COM building hours and require Late Night Access clearances if users require evening work sessions. Fill out a Late Night Access Form at the COM Information Office located in 302A. LNA forms must be renewed each quarter.

Proficiency
All patrons must go through proficiency training in order to gain access to the animation labs. Contact the lab aides to arrange for a test. The proficiency session takes approximately one hour. Prior to your session, read the manual and answer the questions provided. Bring your printed answers with you to the proficiency. You must show up on time or cancel with the lab aide if you are unable to attend.

2D
Cut-out, 2D drawn, sand animation, paint on glass, collage, and rotoscoping animation techniques are all done here.
