Curriculum
Animation is one of the most interdisciplinary of all the arts — informed by the visual and performing arts, humanities and sciences.
Evergreen's emphasis on interdisciplinary teaching and learning has led students to create unique animated works that are experimental in content and form. In the full-time curriculum, animation is taught in interdisciplinary programs in conjunction with dance, music, performance, religious and ritual studies, visual art, math, physics, literature, social studies, history and natural history. Depending on faculty placement it is also taught with film, video, web design and media history and theory in our foundation program, Mediaworks. In the summer, animation is taught in an independent course, Experimental Animation Techniques.
For current information, please refer to the Evergreen catalog.
