Program Costs and Financial Aid

An Evergreen M.Ed. is a great value, offering a quality program at less than half the cost of some master’s options in the region.

Because of the program's flexibility, you can complete your degree in less than two years, at tuition rates that compare favorably to other programs in the South Sound region.

Tuition and Fees

Tuition is based on the number of credit hours (up to 10) registered for at the beginning of the quarter. As an added value, you can choose to take a full-time load from 10 to 18 credits for the same cost as 10 credits.

Estimated Cost of Attendance
per quarter
Summer
(full-time, 10-18 credits)
Fall, Winter, Spring
(part-time, 4 credits)
Tuition* $2,148 ($214 per credit) $872 ($218 per credit)
Books and Supplies $350 $250
Fees $125-$170 $65
Total (10 credits) $2,623 $1,187
The Evergreen M.Ed. Program is state-supported, making it an excellent value.

*For more information, see The Evergreen State College Tuition and Fee Schedule. The Washington State Legislature and the Evergreen Board of Trustees set the rate of tuition annually. Tuition is subject to change without notice.

Financial Aid

M.Ed. students may be eligible for financial aid and should contact Evergreen's Student Financial Aid Office to determine eligibility: (360) 867-6205 or visit  www.evergreen.edu/graduatestudies/finaid.htm.
