GENERAL INFORMATION
The In the Spirit Art Art Market and Festival will be open June 28th and 29th, 2008.

ELIGIBILITY
Vendor eligibility is in compliance with the Indian Arts and Crafts Act of 1990 (P.L.101-644). A vendor must be a member of a state- or federally-recognized tribe, or certified as a tribal artisan by a tribe. New artists are required to send a copy of their Tribal Enrollment documentation, listing your enrollment number.
APPLICATION PROCESS
All vendors must apply to be part of the outdoor art market by April 21, 2008. If you have previously been a vendor, you must still apply but do not need to submit images. All new vendors must submit two images of sample artwork to be sold, along with the application.
HOW TO SUBMIT
New vendors are required to send a copy of their Tribal Enrollment documentation, listing enrollment number.
Electronic Applications
Complete the Vendor Application form in full. Digital images of artwork must be emailed to Melissa Parr. File sizes must be less than 1MB (1024KB) each.
NOTIFICATION
Notification of featured vendors will be posted May 19, 2008 on the Longhouse and Washington State Historical Society (WSHS) web sites and a follow up notification will be sent via email and hard copy.
PAYMENT
$150.00 Vendor Fee is due by June 2, 2008. If you want to pay by credit card, please call Melissa Parr by telephone at 360-586-0169. We want to keep your information as secure as possible.
Please make out your check to the Washington State Historical Society with a notation that this is for NW Native Arts Festival. Send check to:

EVENT LOGISTICS
Set up begins at 8:00am June 28th. To volunteer to help with set up, please contact Melissa Parr by telephone at 360-586-0169, or email at mparr@wshs.wa.gov.
Festival times
June 28 Open 10:00 until 5:00
June 29 Open at 12:00 until 5:00
BOOTHS
Tent size 10 X 10.
One table with tablecloth and two chairs provided.
Museum Passes and booth assignments will be available at the Information table.
Overnight storage of merchandise will be available in the museum loading dock. Vendors will responsible for moving items to the storage location, and will be required to sign a waiver form.
Selected vendors and artists of "In the Spirit" Northwest Native Arts Market and Festival give the Evergreen Longhouse and WSHS permission use images of artwork and festival activities for publicity and fundraising purposes.
